Working Principle of Egg Tray Manufacturing Machine
1. Raw Material Preparation – Waste Paper Pulping
Raw materials like waste cartons and newspapers enter the pulper with proportioned water and are stirred to form a uniform fiber suspension. The vibrating screen removes impurities, and the refiner improves pulp quality. Operators then add specialized processing additives to prepare a standard 1%–3% concentration of qualified pulp, and deliver it to the forming machine pulp tank for subsequent production. 2. Vacuum Forming – Wet Tray Forming
The pulp is pumped to the forming mold. The vacuum system generates negative pressure, causing the pulp fibers to be evenly adsorbed onto the mold surface, forming a wet egg tray. Excess water is recycled. Rotary drum continuous forming and roller extrusion forming ensure uniform thickness and structural integrity of the wet tray, with a forming accuracy error of ≤0.1 mm.
3. Transfer and Dewatering – Wet Tray Transfer
The formed wet egg tray is demolded by a transfer mold using air pressure or mechanical force and transferred to the drying system’s conveyor belt. The transfer process completes preliminary dewatering. It reduces wet tray moisture to avoid drying deformation; meanwhile, it also keeps products perfectly intact.
4. Drying and Curing – Finished Product Shaping
Wet trays enter a multi-layer drying line, where they are dried in sections at 50℃-80℃ with hot air circulation, reducing the moisture content to the acceptable standard of 8%-12%. After drying, the trays are trimmed, smoothed, and stacked to become ready-to-use finished egg trays.
